Arsene Wenger on yesterday's defeat to Bayern Munich

After thier 5-1 humiliation from Bayer Munich, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had this to say about the defeat"You have to give credit to Bayern first for their quality and on top of that we made things easy for them.

It was a bad defensive performance and we were extremely poor defensivelly. We are not at the races. The funny thing is that when we went forward we created  good chances. We had a chance to score early, but with defensive performance like that you go no where'.

The English team came into the game from a 2-0 win at home, but were humiliated by a well organised Bayern Team, with Arjen Robben netting a goal after jst returning from injury.
