Is Nigeria U-17 wonder kid Victor Osimhen the next Kelechi Iheanacho?

The on going U-17 world cup in Chile has been a joy to watch for many, especially Nigerians. the Nigerian team has been really impressive as they are set to face Mali in the finals of the competition.

Nigeria is the most successful side in the competion with four cups. The last time Nigeria won the competition was in 2013 in Asia, where Nigerian wonder kid Kelechi Iheanacho who currently plays for Man City was discovered. This years competition have seen the emergence of another wonder kid, Victor Osimhen, the striker has 9 goals to his name, equalling the record held jointly by Frenchman Florent Simana Pongolle (in Trinidad and Tobego in 2001) and Ivorian Souleymane Coulibaly (in Mexico in 2011).
With the final match, Osimhen is on track to break the record and become the sole leader of the record board.
The question on everyones lips, is will he contionue to shine on the big stage when the competition is over, just like Kelechi, or will these be the last we hear of him just like the likes of Macauly Chrisantus?. Well only time will tell.
