The 28 year old who played for Manchester Utd between 2004 and 2008 believes that neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid could stand in a chance in their first season in the premier league because "playing in places like stoke city is tough".
With spanish teams being the most successful sides in Europe, Pique however doesn't think a dominance in Europe would be reflected if the Spainish gaints tried in the premier league.
"its a debate, we could spend hours on it. If Chelsea or Manchester go to spain, then its the same thing". Pique added.
