Lionel Messi will win the Ballon d'Or this time - Cristiano Ronaldo

The current world footballer of the year and Real Madrid forward believes that his rival Lionel Messi has an edge over him in the Ballon d'Or race.

Speaking recently, when asked about who deserves to win the award, the 30 year old had this to say
"Leo Messi will win it this year because this kind of trophy is decided by votes, he won competitions, Champions League, La Liga.. I achieved without doubt the best season of my career in an individual plan, it's very good, I was the best goalscorer in Europe.. But the Ballon d'Or is decided by votes."
The winner of the Ballon d'Or will be named in January of 2016.
